Get Started

Typlr.app is a lot like any modern font or vector editor. If you’ve used one before, you’ll find it easy to learn.

Usually, font editors have separate panels for editing glyphs and previewing them. Modern editors are basically a large text field with editable glyphs, where every new field opens in a separate tab.

The big difference with typlr.app is that it works more like Figma or Illustrator—it’s a large canvas where you can place different objects. You can add vector shapes not related to the font, paste sketches from other programs in SVG format, create as many text blocks as you want, and even add individual glyphs to the canvas.

In the future, you'll also be able to add images with sketches and text comments.
