A huge update!

Almost two years of no news. Because there wasn't anything new. But today —

A huge update!

I’ve been dreaming about this concept for as long as I can remember. The goal was simple: I’ve been sketching in Illustrator for ages because I love the freedom of not being stuck in a font editor's rigid grid. I wanted to bring that exact same "no limits" feeling to font design.

Why not cross Illustrator, Figma, and a font editor. A platform where you can use images, sketch directly on the canvas, share a link with friends, and even design fonts collaboratively in real-time.

With this release, that foundation is ready. It’s everything you loved before, but with a totally fresh way to work. Now, your font is the document itself. It’s a giant canvas where you can drop vector outlines, text blocks, and glyphs wherever you want. You can tweak font sizes, leading, and even variable axes right there on the fly, all while editing the outlines of your active master. (Hello, Glyphs!)

No more tabs and preview panels!

In two years, the service has been visited by 5,500 visitors. 490 users have registered. Seems like insignificant numbers, but I am pleased in any case.

Many thanks to Type Design Resources and Justin Penner for the link. I advise you to get acquainted with the resource, a huge number of useful links are collected there https://typedesignresources.com/
